Will this work on my ZTR?

Is there a lift mechanism or do you need to get off the mower and lift when turning?

The DTZ-48BH-A-ZTR does not have a lift handle. With the proper adjustments and care when using this equipment, There is no need to lift it when you are turning. The castor wheels will help in maneuvering your machine. Please view the attached manual to see the installation and setup may help you better understand.

What is the benefit of a front-mount dethatcher?

A front-mount dethatcher is great because it gives you the option to do multiple jobs at once; you can dethatch in the front, and then still pick up the thatch with a bagger or lawn sweeper simultaneously.
