If the agitators on your Aerator Spreader are not turning -when weight/material is applied into the hopper- then there may be damage or a loss of cotter pins to the aerator tines. The first 2 spacers on the Aerator tines should be intact and held in place by a cotter pin. If the pin is missing or the spacers are cracked then the aerator may not effectively turn the blades.
