If your wheels are slipping there is likely something wrong with the transmission gears. This could be a loose set screw or worn gears. To inspect whether or not your transmission is skipping we recommend testing the spreader by holding the unit and turning the drive wheel. By listening and watching the movement of the spinner plate and axle you should be able to determine which linkage is failing.
